What headphones are going to be safest against ear damage?
In the past I have gone through many headphones and earplugs which makes me a bit hesitant to purchase another one. I know that in ear ones damage your ears because they are so close to your eardrums. However I read that if it covers your ear completely (goes over it like the dj style ones) it blocks the air flow and can also damage hearing even more.

Assuming I keep the volume steady around 30 to 40% on the windows sound volume meter.

what causes the damage is not lack of air flow, but the volume level. As long as you keep the volume level down damage won’t be an issue.
